Now you see me
This installation explores how light can reveal the unseen - not only within a space, but within us as humans.
Created during a “Playing with Shadow” workshop, the project investigates how directed light and shadow can alter perception, create presence and reveal the deeper layers beneath what we typically observe.
The space becomes a metaphor: just as light reveals depth in physical form, it also symbolizes the act of perceiving others more fully - seeing beyond surfaces, beyond first impressions. Different layers invites viewers to slow down and observe how different angles and textures can bring forward different perspectives.
This project is not just about transforming a physical space — it’s about encouraging a shift in how we see with light as a medium: Do we ever truly see a person when we look at them? What unfolds when we shift our perspective - when we see them in a different light?
